(Reuters) - The Houston Texans, with wide receivers Andre Johnson and Bryant Johnson injured, have acquired Derrick Mason from the New York Jets for a future draft choice, the two teams said on Wednesday.
Mason, in his 15th season, has gained 1,000 or more yards receiving eight times while playing with the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens.
The 37-year-old has not started a game this season, his first with the Jets, catching 13 passes for 115 yards in a reserve role.
