San Antonio, TX – University of Texas-San Antonio head football coach Larry Coker announced changes to the Roadrunners' future schedule on Monday.
With UTSA's impending move to the Western Athletic Conference, rather than the originally planned Southland Conference, 2012 games with Southern Utah (Oct. 20) and UC Davis (Oct. 27) have been dropped.
In addition, an originally scheduled Sept. 8, 2012 home game with Sam Houston State has been moved to Sept. 26, 2015. Still to be played in 2012, a trip to Georgia State has been moved from Sept. 29 to Sept. 15 at the Georgia Dome.
The Roadrunners also have a home-and-home series with New Mexico. They will open the 2013 season in Albuquerque (Aug. 31), while the Lobos will visit the Alamodome on Oct. 4, 2014.
