Carolina TE Shockey returns to practice

Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey returned to practice on Thursday.

The Pro Bowl tight end sat out Wednesday's practice with a mild concussion and took part in limited reps on Thursday in preparation for Sunday's home game against New Orleans.

Shockey was signed by the Panthers in the offseason after spending the previous three seasons with New Orleans, winning a Super Bowl with the Saints in a victory over the Colts in 2010.

On the season, his 10th in the NFL, he has 11 catches for 178 yards.
