New York, NY – Chicago Fire midfielder Marco Pappa was named the Major League Soccer Player of the Week for Week 29 of the MLS season on Monday.

Chicago has gone 5-1-1 in its last seven games to climb up the table in the Eastern Conference, while Pappa becomes the first Fire player this season to be named Player of the Week.
