Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas was inactive for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.

Thomas, who leads the team with 202 rushing yards, is out because of a hamstring injury.

Steve Slaton, who was claimed off waivers from the Houston Texans Thursday, is expected to receive some playing time behind Reggie Bush.

Also inactive for the Dolphins are wide receiver Roberto Wallace (quadriceps), cornerback Vontae Davis (hamstring), linebacker Koa Misi (neck), center/guard Ryan Cook, defensive tackle Tony McDaniel (thumb) and tight end Will Yeatman.

Jason Taylor is expected to start for Misi and Nolan Carroll for Davis.

Tight end Antonio Gates (foot), cornerback Quentin Jammer (hamstring), and defensive ends Jacques Cesaire (knee) and Luis Castillo (knee) are among the inactives for San Diego.

Marcus Gilchrist is slated to start for Jammer and Randy McMichael for Gates.
