John Huston shot a six-under 66 on Saturday to way tie for first after two rounds of the SAS Championship.

Huston, who had seven birdies and a bogey at Prestonwood Country Club to get to nine-under 135, is in his first year on the Champions Tour and is chasing his second victory. In only his third event as a senior tour member, he won the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.

He shares the lead with Kenny Perry, a 14-time PGA Tour winner who is still seeking his first win on the Champions Tour. Perry shot a three-under 69 on Saturday, as did Nick Price, the third co-leader who has four senior victories.

Jeff Sluman (69) is one shot off the pace at eight-under 136, while defending champion Russ Cochran (71) is fifth at minus-seven. First-round leader Corey Pavin sputtered to a two-over 74 to slip to a share of eighth at five-under.
