Cincinnati, OH – Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Denver despite a wrist injury he suffered in last week's season opener against Cleveland.
Dalton had been limited in practice each of the past two days, but was a full participant in Friday's workout.
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis wouldn't officially name Dalton as the starter for Sunday's game, saying only "we'll see," when asked after Friday's practice if the rookie out of TCU would start Sunday.
If Dalton is unable to start, Bruce Gradkowski would get the nod. Gradkowski replaced Dalton last week against the Browns and threw for 92 yards while connecting just 5-of-12 throws. One of those completions was a 41-yard touchdown toss to A.J. Green in the fourth quarter that put Cincinnati ahead for good in a 27-17 win.
Dalton completed 10-of-15 passes for 81 yards and a score before leaving the contest.
Defensive end Robert Geathers is doubtful for Sunday's game because of a shoulder injury. He has not practiced all week. Opposite defensive end Michael Johnson was a full participant at practice on Friday after two days of limited work because of a groin problem and is considered probable for Sunday.
