Bucs sign LB Diles to two-year deal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Texans year deal on Monday.

Diles spent his first four NFL seasons with Houston, which selected him in the seventh round of the 2007 draft out of Kansas State. He was in camp with the St. Louis Rams before being cut over the weekend.

In 50 games, he posted 223 tackles, one sack and one interception.

Tampa Bay claimed tight end Zack Pianalto off waivers from the Buffalo Bills, and signed tight ends Daniel Hardy and Collin Franklin, tackle Will Barker, safety Ahmad Black, quarterback Rudy Carpenter, running back Mossis Madu and linebacker Derrell Smith to the practice squad.

The Bucs also waived cornerback D.J. Johnson and defensive end George Johnson.
