Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of boating while intoxicated.

According to the roster for the Hennepin County jail, Byfuglien was booked shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday. Charge details show he was arrested with probable cause, and was released Thursday morning.

The Minneapolis native posted 20 goals and 33 assists in 81 games last season for the Atlanta Thrashers, who were relocated to Winnipeg this spring.
