Baton Rouge, LA – LSU football players Jordan Jefferson and Joshua Johns are reportedly set to turn themselves in to police after arrest warrants were issued for the two in connection with a bar fight last weekend.
According to the Baton Rouge Advocate, the warrants were issued on Friday morning and the two players were making arrangements with attorney Nathan Fisher to report to police.
The warrants, the paper said, accuse each player of a felony charge of second- degree battery.
Baton Rouge police investigated a fight in the early morning hours of Friday, August 19 outside Shady's Bar near the campus of LSU. In addition to Jefferson and Johns, Jarvis Landry and Chris Davenport were asked to give statements to police.
According to the initial police statement, the fight started after an individual blew his horn to move a crowd out of his way in the parking lot.
