Wolverhampton striker Sylvan Ebanks- Blake will be sidelined for a month after suffering knee ligament damage, the English Premier League club announced Thursday.
Ebanks-Blake was injured during Wednesday's Carling cup victory at Northampton Town after he scored two goals.
"The injury is worse than we first thought," Wolves coach Mick McCarthy said. "Sylvan has damaged his medial ligament and you are looking at him being out for a month."
Wolverhampton plays Aston Villa on Saturday in the Premier League.
