Foxboro, MA – The New England Patriots signed safety James Ihedigbo Friday.
Financial terms of the deal were not announced.
The three-year veteran was signed as a rookie free agent by the New York Jets and has played mainly on special teams.
He has appeared in 37 career games -- no starts -- and has recorded 36 tackles and five sacks.
