Aaron Rodgers connected with Greg Jennings on yard touchdown pass, highlighting Green Bay's 28-20 preseason win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Rodgers played the first three series and hit on 9-of-12 passes for 97 yards. Matt Flynn misfired on just one of his six pass attempts and finished with 141 yards, including a 97-yard scoring bomb to Chastin West on the opening play of the final quarter. Graham Harrell finished up under center and ended 7-of-9 for 81 yards with a score in the first preseason home game for the defending Super Bowl champions.

Kevin Kolb played the opening three series for the Cardinals and completed 6- of-11 passes for 80 yards. John Skelton relieved Kolb, but didn't return after halftime because of a sprained right ankle. Richard Bartel went 13-of-19 for 169 yards and a TD. Max Hall led the first fourth quarter series at QB, but that resulted in a punt.

The Cardinals may have suffered a big blow to their backfield with a right knee injury to rookie Ryan Williams. The second-round draft pick out of Virginia Tech was carted off the field in the third quarter after his only rush of the game.

It could be a ruptured patella tendon, according to Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt. If so, Williams will likely be out for the season. That could mean a lot more carries for Beanie Wells, who had 11 of them for 44 yards Friday night.

Jay Feely kicked a 39-yard field goal to cap an 11-play, 66-yard march on Arizona's second possession. He connected from 53 yards in the second, but Rodgers finally put the Packers in front by connecting on all five of his passes during a second-quarter drive, the last to Jennings.

"I felt like we did better things on offense, but we had too many penalties and just a couple of conversions that we didn't pick up," Rodgers said. "But the third drive felt good. We moved the ball well and guys made some plays and got in the end zone."

Stephen Williams scored on a seven-yard pass from Bartel in the third and Alfonso Smith plunged in from a yard out later in the quarter for a 21-20 Arizona edge.

West's TD grab and Harrell's six-yard scoring toss to Kerry Taylor made it an eight-point margin.

Bartel was picked off by Brandian Ross in the end zone with 4:13 remaining.
