Eagles put Smith on PUP

Bethlehem, PA – The Philadelphia Eagles have placed wide receiver Steve Smith on the physically unable to perform list.

Smith was just signed by the Eagles earlier this week and is recovering from a knee injury he sustained last December while playing for the New York Giants.

In addition, the Eagles also signed offensive tackles Joe Toledo and Spencer Johnson, while releasing defensive tackle Charles Noonan and quarterback Jerrod Johnson. Defensive tackle Brandon Collier was also waived/injured.
