Boston's Milan Lucic to host Stanley Cup at private Vancouver event

VANCOUVER - The Stanley Cup is coming to Vancouver on Sunday.

The iconic hockey trophy will spend the day with Milan Lucic, a native of East Vancouver and a member of the 2011 Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins.

The Bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final this past June.

Dobro Lucic says his son is planning a private event and family from as far away as Toronto, San Diego and Los Angeles are expected to attend the celebration.

He says seeing the Stanley Cup will be something special.

Milan Lucic is currently in Vancouver and is getting ready for the upcoming hockey season.
