Jurgen Klinsmann is mixing it up for his first game as U.S. coach, taking a look at some up-and-coming players for the Aug. 10 exhibition against Mexico in Philadelphia.

Michael Orozco Fiscal, Break Shea, Bill Hamid, Edgar Castillo and Timothy Chandler were among the 22 players Klinsmann selected Thursday for the game against El Tri, a rematch of the disappointing Gold Cup final that led to Klinsmann's hiring last week. It's the first call-up for Hamid, a goalkeeper, while the others have made two or fewer appearances for the U.S.

Klinsmann also brought back DaMarcus Beasley, who hasn't played for the U.S. since the World Cup in South Africa, and onetime phenom Freddy Adu. Veterans Tim Howard, Landon Donovan and captain Carlos Bocanegra also were selected for the exhibition.
