NEW YORK, N.Y. - The New York Rangers have re-signed defenceman Steve Eminger, the club announced Monday.
The 27-year-old Eminger played 65 games with the Rangers last season, registering two goals and four assists to go along with 22 penalty minutes.
In 411 career NHL games with the Rangers, Ducks, Panthers, Lightning, Flyers and Capitals, the six-foot-two, 203-pound Eminger has 91 points (17 goals, 74 assists) and 323 penalty minutes.
The Woodbridge, Ont., native was acquired by the Rangers from the Ducks in exchange for forwards Aaron Voros and Ryan Hillier last July.
