PHILADELPHIA - Jaromir Jagr is heading back to Pennsylvania but it won't be with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Instead, the veteran forward has agreed to a free-agent deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Jagr has spent the last three seasons playing in Russia and engaged in a long back-and-forth with NHL teams, including the Penguins.

However, Pittsburgh withdrew a US$2-million, one-year deal after growing tired of waiting for a response.

Jagr started his NHL career with the Penguins in 1990 and went on to put up 646 goals and 1,599 points in 1,273 career games.
