DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche introduced their top two picks from last weekend's NHL entry draft on Tuesday.

Forward Gabriel Landeskog was taken with the second overall pick and defenceman Duncan Siemens was the 11th pick. Landeskog is the highest draft pick the Avalanche had since moving to Denver in 1995.

Both players will take part in the organization's developmental camp later this summer, with Landeskog hoping to make the roster for the 2011-'12 season.
