BOSTON (AP) - The Vancouver Canucks have pulled goalie Roberto Luongo, who gave up three early goals to the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.
Luongo was pulled just 8:35 into the game Monday night after Brad Marchand, Milan Lucic and Andrew Ference scored on eight shots for the Bruins, who faced playoff elimination.
Luongo also was pulled from Game 4 in Boston after giving up 12 goals in just over four periods, but he shut out the Bruins 1-0 in Game 5 in Vancouver.
Luongo angered Boston fans after Game 5 when he criticized Bruins goalie Tim Thomas.
Cory Schneider replaced Luongo and immediately gave up another goal to Michael Ryder.
