Vancouver Canuck defenceman Dan Hamhuis leaves Game 1 of Cup final

VANCOUVER - Vancouver Canuck defenceman Dan Hamhuis left with an apparent injury in the second period of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup final against the Boston Bruins.

Hamhuis delivered a hip check on Bruins forward Milan Lucic, who was sent flying head-over-heels.

Boston's David Krejci took exception to the hit and cross-checked Hamhuis while he was on the ice.

Hamhuis went to the Canucks' dressing room hunched over and wincing.
