Justin Braun scored three goals and Chivas USA earned their third win in four games with a 3-2 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Sunday.

The forward, who came into the game without a goal, scored the game-winner in the 56th minute when he tapped in a direct kick a couple of feet from the goal line. He scored two goals in the first half.

The Red Bulls had only allowed three goals all season entering the game.

The loss snapped the Red Bulls' four-game unbeaten streak, but they remained in first place in the Eastern Conference at 4-2-3. Chivas, 3-3-3, remained in seventh place in the West.

Thierry Henry, who scored his fifth goal in five games in the first half, and Rafa Marquez had missed the Red Bulls' first two penalty kicks of 2011.

The teams engaged in an active first half that ended 2-2. Dwayne De Rosario scored in the 34th minute on a penalty kick.
