Mariners' Milton Bradley suspended for 1 game

Seattle Mariners outfielder Milton Bradley has been suspended for one game and fined following his ejection against the Boston Red Sox last weekend.

Bradley asked the players' association to appeal, delaying any penalty until after a hearing. Major League Baseball imposed the suspension on Tuesday.

Bradley hit an RBI double in the third inning of Seattle's 2-0 win Saturday night and was standing at second base when the problem started. After teammate Miguel Olivo was called out on a close play at first base, Bradley began arguing with second base umpire Gerry Davis and was ejected.
