It's a good thing, too.
Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said after Sunday's 4-3 win against the Chicago Blackhawks that his team might start its first-round playoff series against the Phoenix Coyotes without injured star forward Henrik Zetterberg – who's been out since leaving a game against the Carolina Hurricanes last week with a lower body injury.
"I don't expect him to start the series," Babcock said of Zetterberg. "But he's really pushing things and he's working hard at it and he'll be ready to go as soon as he can."
Zetterberg and defenseman Niklas Kronwall (upper body) both missed this weekend's home-and-home series against the rival Blackhawks, but Babcock said that Kronwall will play whenever third-seeded Detroit plays its first game against the sixth-seeded Coyotes in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
