Hanley Ramirez left in the seventh inning of Friday night's game in Houston with an apparent left leg injury after the Florida Marlins' shortstop was barreled into on a take-out slide at second base.

Ramirez was trying to turn a double play when Bill Hall slid into his leg at second. Ramirez crumpled in pain as trainers from both dugouts ran onto the field to check on him.

Florida trainer Sean Cunningham and left fielder Logan Morrison helped Ramirez to the dugout. Ramirez avoided putting weight on his left leg and hopped on his right into the clubhouse.

Marlins manager Edwin Rodriguez inserted Greg Dobbs at third base and moved Donnie Murphy to shortstop after Ramirez left the game.
