EDINBURG, Texas –  Troy Huff scored 13 points and Patrick Mitchell added 12 as North Dakota defeated Texas-Pan American 72-61 on Saturday night.

The Fighting Sioux (16-14, 8-4), who secured the third seed in next week's Great West Conference tournament, also got nine points and 11 rebounds from Jamal Webb.

Kieondre Arkwright led the Broncs (6-24, 2-10) with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Julius Hearn added 11 points and Matt Mierzycki had 10.

North Dakota, which led 35-30 at the half, made 28 of 59 field-goal attempts, while Texas-Pan American struggled, making just 18 of 53 shots.
