David Pizarro marked his return to the first team under new Roma coach Vincenzo Montella by converting a 90th-minute penalty kick Friday night that gave Roma a 2-1 win at Lecce.
Dropping from the starting lineup by former coach Claudio Ranieri, Pizarro has been given a chance by new coach Vincenzo Montella. The penalty was called for a hand ball by Gianni Munari on Marco Borriello.
Mirko Vucinic gave Roma the lead in the 32nd minute, but Lecce Guillermo Giacomazzi tied the score in the 75th.
Roma (13-8-7) is sixth with 46 points. Lecce (7-13-8) is 17th with 28, three points above the relegation zone.

Miso Brecko almost tied it in the 89th, hitting the side-netting from 15 yards.
