Torrey Craig scored 20 points and South Carolina-Upstate hit its free throws down the stretch to knock off Campbell 70-64 on Saturday, snapping a five-game skid and splitting the season series.

The Spartans (5-24, 4-15 Atlantic Sun Conference), who came in averaging 60.2 percent from the free-throw line, made 17 of 20 foul shots in the final 4:06.

Trailing 31-21 at halftime, the Camels (12-18, 6-14) opened the second half on a 14-4 run to tie it at 35.

USC Upstate broke a 43-43 tie with a 10-3 run, including a pair of 3-pointers from Josh Chavis and one from Craig. The Spartans did the rest from the line as Campbell could get no closer than six in its last regular-season game.

Mezie Uzochukwu added 13 points and 11 rebounds for USC Upstate and Davis had 14 points.

Junard Hartley had 16 points and eight assists to lead the Camels, who have lost three straight.
