Cam Long scored five of his 19 points in the final minute to lead George Mason over Georgia State 65-58 on Saturday night in the regular season finale for both teams.

The Patriots (25-5, 16-2 Colonial Athletic Association) ended the game on an 13-6 run after Jihad Ali tied the score at 52 on a 3-pointer with 4:41 remaining.

Long hit two free throws with 58 seconds left and a 3 with 24 seconds to go, extending George Mason's lead to 63-56.

Mike Morrison added 14 points and Vertrail Vaughns had 12 for the Patriots, who extended the nation's longest winning streak to 15 games. George Mason's 16 conference wins is the most in school history and is tied for the most conference wins by one team in CAA history.

Josh Micheaux scored 17 points and Ali finished with 10 for the Panthers (11-18, 6-12), who have lost four straight and five of their last six contests.
