Darryl Shazier had 15 points and a career-high five steals as Bucknell won its sixth straight game, defeating Lehigh 72-55 Wednesday night to clinch the Patriot League regular-season title.

Bryan Cohen added 13 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots for the Bison (21-8, 12-1), who have won 19 of their last 21 games, including 81-68 over Lehigh on Jan. 26.

Bucknell became the eighth team to win 12 Patriot League games in a season and reached the 21-win plateau for the ninth time in program history.

The Mountain Hawks (15-13, 6-7) missed a chance to secure the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament as Patriot League scoring leader C.J. McCollum had 17 points — more than five below his average — on 6-for-16 shooting.

Lehigh shot just 20.8 percent in the second half (5 of 24) while the Bison shot 51.6 percent (16 of 31).
