A Pennsylvania college basketball coach has been suspended for an alleged assault on a player during practice that was caught on tape, according to MyFoxPhilly.com.

Holy Family University sophomore Matt Kravchuk can be seen in the video getting knocked down by coach John O'Connor during a January practice and then kicking him while he was down. Kravchuk filed a police report following the alleged incident.

"We're just doing a drill and the next thing I know I was on the floor," Kravchuk told the Fox Philadelphia affiliate.

"I landed on my wrist... I was bleeding from my mouth."

The video shows the coach berating his player afterward.

"Got a little (bleep) blood on you. Good," the coach says in the video obtained by the TV station.

A university spokesperson says they are aware of the police report and that they are looking into the matter.
