Casey Walker scored 24 points and Marques Oliver added 15 points and 11 rebounds as Delaware State defeated Norfolk State 91-83 on Monday night.

The Hornets (9-13, 5-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) made 15 of 28 from 3-point range (53.6 percent) and overcame a solid shooting effort by the Spartans.

Norfolk State (7-15, 5-5) shot 55.4 percent from the floor (31 of 56), posted a 37-19 rebounding advantage and outscored the Hornets 46-22 in the paint.

But the Spartans committed 17 turnovers, leading to 25 points for Delaware State, which turned it over just four times.

Kyle O'Quinn scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Norfolk State. Pendarvis Williams added 18 points, Rob Hampton had 14 and Aleek Pauline and Brandon Wheeless scored 13 apiece.

Desi Washington scored 19 points for the Hornets, with Chad Wilson adding 14 and Jay Threatt 10.
