Richmond extends Fordham's A10 skid 77-60

Justin Harper's 16 points led three Spiders in double figures as Richmond defeated Fordham 77-60 on Saturday afternoon, handing the Rams their 35th consecutive Atlantic 10 Conference loss.

The Spiders' other double-digit scorers were Dan Geriot, who scored 15 points, and Kevin Anderson, who scored all 14 of his points in the first half.

Fordham's Brenton Butler opened the game with a 3-pointer, but Richmond (18-6, 7-2) scored the next nine points to open a lead it never relinquished.

The Spiders eventually would open a 22-point lead, 38-16, in the first half, and the Rams (6-15, 0-9) got no closer than 12 points for the rest of the game.

Chris Gaston led Fordham with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Butler added 16 points and Branden Frazier 11.
