Ryan Pearson had 18 points and 11 rebounds as George Mason won its ninth straight game with a 62-45 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday.

Leading 49-37, the Patriots (19-5, 11-2 Colonial Athletic Association) used a 9-0 run, capped by two free throws by Luke Hancock with 3:18 remaining, to seal the game. George Mason was able to overcome a slow start in the first half, missing nine of its first 10 shots, to take a 24-21 halftime lead.

Cam Long had 14 points and Mike Morrison added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Patriots, who remained unbeaten in 12 home games in front of their first sellout crowd of the season.

Old Dominion was paced by 12 points apiece from Kent Bazemore and Chris Cooper.
