Belmont coach Rick Byrd earned his 600th coaching victory Sunday in the Bruins' 82-64 win over Stetson.

Byrd has won 508 games at Belmont, 69 at Lincoln Memorial and 23 at Maryville (Tenn.), and became the 12th active coach in NCAA Division I men's basketball to reach the 600 milestone.

Drew Hanlen and Ian Clark each scored 14 points as the Bruins (20-4, 12-1 Atlantic Sun Conference) won for the 11th time in the last 12 games, while sending the Hatters (6-17, 4-8) to their sixth consecutive loss.

J.J. Mann and Trevor Noack added 10 points apiece.

The Bruins closed the first half on a 24-7 run to take a 41-25 halftime lead. They built their biggest lead at 26 points, 67-41, on Blake Jenkins' layup with 8:42 to go.

Jordan Campbell and Hanlen each had three 3-pointers as the Bruins tied a season high with 13.

Corey Walden led Stetson with 19 points.
