Suns sign Zabian Dowdell to 2nd 10-day contract

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns have signed guard Zabian Dowdell to a second 10-day contract.

Dowdell signed his first 10-day deal on Jan. 9 and appeared briefly in two games for Phoenix.

The former Virginia Tech standout went to training camp with the Suns this year and was waived Oct. 19.

He had been playing for Tulsa in the NBA's Development League, where he averaged 14 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in 18 games.
