N'Gai Evans and Vaughn Duggins each had 14 points and Wright State overcame cold shooting and rallied to defeat Youngstown State 66-62 Thursday night.

Wright State (13-7, 6-2 Horizon League) trailed 58-48 with 6:47 left, but closed on an 18-4 run to win its 10th game in the last 12.

The Raiders survived 32.1-percent shooting (19 of 59) by outrebounding Youngstown State 46-35 and by making the most of their advantage at the free-throw line. They made 23 of 30 at the line; the Penguins made only 9 of 18.

Evans and Duggins each made 4 of 13 shots from the field for Wright State, which made only 9 of 31 from the field in the first half, yet trailed only 28-24 at the break. Johann Mpondo added 11 rebounds.

Devonte Maymon and Ashen Ward each scored 12 to lead Youngstown State (7-11, 1-7), which lost for the ninth time in 12 games. Youngstown's Damian Eargle blocked six shots.
