Kenny Onyechi scored 14 points to lead five Long Island University players in double figures in a 91-69 rout of Mount St. Mary's (Md.) on Thursday night.

The Blackbirds (12-4, 4-1 Northeast Conference) won their sixth straight game while the Mountaineers (4-14, 2-3) have lost 10 of their past 11.

Long Island, which entered the game leading the conference in scoring (81.2 points per game) and field goal percentage (46.3 percent), scored at least 91 points for the fifth time this season. The Blackbirds also shot 50.8 percent from the floor (32 of 63).

Long Island took a 45-25 lead at halftime and led by 36, at 79-43 with 8:18 to go.

Jamal Olasewere scored 13 points, Kyle Johnson had 11, and Booker Hucks and Arnold Mayorga added 10 apiece for the Blackbirds, who lead the series 23-22.

Shawn Atupem and Lamar Trice scored 16 points apiece for the Mountaineers.
