Tony González, the standout tight end for the Atlanta Falcons, has made it to the Pro Bowl team again.

González, who was named to seven Pro Bowls as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, will be an alternate behind starter Jason Witten, the Dallas Cowboys' tight end.

The 34-year-old has caught 64 receptions for 603 yards so far this season. He has five touchdown catches.

The standout tight end, whose mother is of Mexican descent, has had a Hall of Fame career. He has more than 1,000 receptions with 87 TDs over 14 seasons. González was also a member of the National Football League's 2000s All-Decade Team.

González has helped lead the Atlanta Falcons to first place in the National Football Conference South. The team could clinch the division and secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win on Sunday.
