Fresh off last week's road win over AFC South rival Tennessee, the Indianapolis Colts returned from a three-day break Monday to begin preparations for a showdown with division leader Jacksonville.

Colts coach Jim Caldwell was hopeful that his banged-up team will get some injured players back in time for the Jaguars game on Sunday.

"I know (the rest) helped us. But we'll see how many guys that we get coming back from it," Caldwell said. "But it certainly helped us just in terms of turnaround time for those guys that even played (against the Titans), to kind of recuperate and get their bodies back to feeling good. I think that's key and that's important to us."

Should Indianapolis (7-6) win its remaining three regular season games, the Colts would have a seventh divisional championship. Any stumble could result in the franchise missing the playoffs for the first time since the 2001 season.

The Jaguars (8-5) posted a 31-28 win on Oct. 10 as Josh Scobee hit a 59-yard field goal as time expired.

"(Jacksonville) is still doing the same things and they're doing them better," Caldwell said. "That's our challenge. They're playing awfully well right now, so it's a good challenge for us. Within our division, it's tough and highly competitive. You have a lot of teams that play well against one another. There's not much room for error."

Linebacker Clint Session, who has not played since Nov. 1 after suffering a fractured right forearm and a dislocated right elbow, could see some practice time this week, Caldwell said.

Cornerback Kelvin Hayden expects to play against Jacksonville after missing the Titans game with a pinched nerve in his neck. There has been no decision concerning the availability of running back Joseph Addai (neck) and wide receiver Austin Collie (concussion).

"We're hoping there is a possibility we could get a few guys back, but I don't know who that's going to be," Caldwell said. "I tend to wait until the medical people say (they've) been released to go."
