Maple Leafs netminder Giguere sidelined with groin injury

TORONTO (Reuters) - The struggling Toronto Maple Leafs suffered another blow when their number one netminder Jean-Sebastien Giguere was sidelined for between one and two weeks with a groin strain, the NHL team said on Wednesday.

Giguere sustained the injury late in the final period of the Maple Leafs' 5-4 comeback win over the Nashville Predators on Tuesday that snapped an eight-game winless streak.

Toronto has recalled goaltender James Reimer from the American Hockey League Toronto Marlies to back up Jonas Gustavsson.
