Amy Rodriguez scored three goals to help the United States rout Guatemala 9-0 on Saturday night in Group B play in CONCACAF Women's World Cup qualifying.

The Americans earned a spot in the semifinals with the victory and Costa Rica's 3-0 win over Haiti.

Abby Wambach and Megan Rapinoe each had two goals and Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd also scored for the United States. On Thursday night, Wambach had three goals in the Americans' opening 5-0 victory over Haiti.

The United States will complete the first round against Costa Rica on Monday.

The top two finishers in each group will advance to the semifinals, with the winners of those games earning berths in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany. The winner of the third-place match will play a two-game series against Italy, which won a playoff for fifth place in Europe, for the final berth in Germany.
