Parker extends San Antonio Spurs contract until 2015

PARIS (Reuters) - Three-time All Star Tony Parker has extended his contract with the San Antonio Spurs until 2015, the French point guard said on his website on Saturday.

Parker, whose contract was due to expire at the end of this season, will be paid $50 million from 2011-15.

"Everything went fast since negotiations started two weeks ago," said Parker, who arrived from France in 2001.

"It changes a lot of things since it means I will be able to play with a quiet mind."

Parker, 28, has won three NBA championships with the Spurs, in 2003, 05 and 07.
