LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic has been sidelined after being concussed when he was hit in the face by a team mate's elbow.
The NBA champions said Vujacic was struck just below the left eye by an errant elbow from team mate Lamar Odom during Thursday's practice.
"Vujacic will be monitored closely and re-evaluated Friday, but for now is considered out indefinitely from basketball activity," the Lakers said on their website (www.nba.com/lakers).
The Slovenian was drafted by the Lakers in 2004 and helped them win championships in each of the past two seasons.
