ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Substitutes Victor Lojero and Fausto Ruiz scored second-half goals to lead San Luis FC to a 3-0 win over Club America in an exhibition Saturday.

The two Mexican clubs start the season next weekend. Club America had by far the better fan support among the 27,061 who came to the Cowboys Stadium, which buzzed all afternoon with vuvuzelas.

San Luis cemented the win with goals 12 minutes apart. First, Lojero slipped behind the America defense, received a nice pass from Edgar Castillo, and slotted a low shot past goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa in the 70th minute.

Ruiz, who entered in the 73rd, connected from about 10 yards out after Noe Maya's cross from the right ricocheted off Diego de la Torre in front and bounced right to him.

Wilmar Aguirra put San Luis ahead in the 6th.
