EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have agreed to terms with guard Mitch Petrus and punter Matt Dodge and picked up wide receiver and kick returner Chris Davis off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Giants announced the deals with their fifth and seventh round draft picks, respectively, on Wednesday.

The team now has five of its seven draft picks under contract. Safety Chad Jones, the third-round pick, signed last week. Linebackers Phillip Dillard of Nebraska and Adrian Tracy of William & Mark, the fourth and sixth round picks, respectively, agreed on Tuesday.

A walk-on at Arkansas, Petrus played fullback, both guard positions, tight end and was on the kick coverage unit in his four seasons with the Razorbacks. He was the only offensive player taken by New York in the draft.

Dodge seemingly will be the Giants' punter with the recent retirement of Jeff Feagles and the decision to cut Jy Bond. Dodge averaged 45.8 yards this past season at East Carolina.

The only draft picks not signed are defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul of South Florida and defensive tackle Linval Joseph of East Carolina. Pierre-Paul was the Giants' first-round pick. Joseph was taken in the second round.

Davis, a 2007 fourth-round draft choice of the Tennessee Titans, did not play in 2009 after suffering a hamstring injury in the Hall of Fame game against Buffalo. Cincinnati signed him on March 12 and waived him Tuesday.

Davis played in 17 regular-season games for the Titans, catching seven passes for 68 yards. He averaged 9.1 yards on 33 punt returns and 26.0 yards on six kickoff returns.
