RUSTENBURG (Reuters) - Australia made four changes to their starting lineup for their crucial Group D match against Ghana on Saturday, starting with Harry Kewell and Mark Bresciano in a bid for goals.

Kewell has not played since early this year due to a groin strain but has been training with the Socceroos squad for the past two weeks.

Bresciano also rejoins the side up front after sitting out the 4-0 defeat to Germany that has put the team at risk of not making it through the group stages, while Brett Holman will also play as a forward in a match that Australia must win.

Defender David Carney replaces Scott Chipperfield, while Vince Grella is injured and top Scorer Tim Cahill misses the game through suspension after being sent off in the German game.

Ghanaian captain and center back John Mensah misses the match after picking up a knock in training on Friday.

Ghana start with a much changed backline after Isaac Vorsah also pulled up with an injury, with Jonathan Mensah and Lee Addy coming into the team that won their first game against Serbia.
