LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover and 1996 British Open winner Tom Lehman are to join world number two Phil Mickelson on an American invasion of next month's Scottish Open, organizers said on Monday.
Mickelson announced in April his participation in the British Open warm-up event and will also have compatriots JB Holmes, Heath Slocum, Nick Watney and Fred Funk for company on the picturesque banks of Loch Lomond.
"I'm really looking forward to playing in the Scottish Open for the first time," said Glover who defends his U.S. Open crown at Pebble Beach later this week.
"I've heard great things about the tournament and the golf course so I'm excited about experiencing them first hand," he said in a news release.
