SAN ANTONIO (AP) — J.B. Holmes shot a 6-under 66 to take a one-stroke lead after the first of two rounds planned for Sunday at the Texas Open.
Fredrik Jacobson was a shot back after a 66 in the third round, and Ernie Els, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour this year, was four shots back after shooting a 69.
The tournament hoped to cram two rounds into Sunday after rain washed out Friday's play entirely.
A light rain fell early Sunday at TPC San Antonio, and tournament officials were watching a storm cell to the west as the fourth round began.
