BALTIMORE (Reuters) - Baltimore Orioles right-hander Koji Uehara has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain, the team said on Saturday.
The eight-times Japanese All-Star posted a 1.69 ERA in six spring training games for the Orioles. He was placed on the DL retroactive to March 26, the team said in a release.
Uehara was 2-4 with a 4.05 ERA in 12 games for Baltimore in 2009.
